Tyler Tanaka || 18 || Resident of the Smoggies || Highschool Student Born thirty minutes before her twin brother, Tyler is the oldest child in her large family of two parents and nine siblings, and somehow has ended up with all of their hopes and dreams pinned onto her. Most of her childhood was spent going hungry, often choosing to give the few scraps of food to her younger siblings that had started working and earning before she ever did. She was never physically strong or talented, and had it not been for her academic gift, she'd likely have been sold by her parents long ago. Instead, she is the cleverest in her family, and has always been the top student in school. This lead to her parents encouraging her to stay in school and aim for the scholarship to try and bring her family out of poverty.
